Flggd Scam School · Investment & Trading Scams · Lesson 2 of 19
Someone just sent you screenshots of their trading profits, and the numbers look life-changing. Before you believe them, here's how fake trading profit screenshots are made, and why they prove nothing.
The message looks like this

Why this is a scam
A profit screenshot can be produced in about a minute. Demo accounts, photo editors, and entire websites exist to generate fake trading dashboards, fake broker balances, and fake portfolio summaries.
Real investors are audited by statements, not screenshots. Anyone whose "proof" is an image is showing you marketing, and the mentorship, signal group, or platform behind it is where the scam begins.
Red flags checklist
Proof arrives as images: balances, dashboards, or portfolio screenshots.
Returns are absurdly steady; 20% or more every single month.
The profits belong to a "mentor" or their "students", never to you.
A deadline is attached: spots close Sunday, prices rise Monday.
You're asked to message a keyword like START to join.
No regulated broker statement, audit, or verifiable record is ever offered.
The manipulation tactic
This is social proof. Seeing is believing, so the scam hands you something to see; your brain does the rest.
What to do, and what not to do
Treat every profit screenshot as fiction until proven otherwise.
Never join a mentorship or signal group based on posted results.
Don't send money or "activation fees" to anyone who recruits by DM.
Ask for a regulated account statement; watch the excuses start.
Report the account and block it.
