Flggd Scam School · Investment & Trading Scams · Lesson 15 of 19

Ten trades, ten wins. Your coach is thrilled, the platform is smooth, and every trade wins. A perfect streak isn't luck or talent; it's choreography, and the final scene costs everything.

The message looks like this

Example of a winning streak trading platform scam message

Why this is a scam

On a fake platform, wins cost the scammer nothing; the trades never touch a market. Letting you win is an investment in your confidence, and your confidence has a price tag: the next tier.

The streak also builds the "coach" into a genius. When the big loss finally comes, after your largest deposit, it will be framed as freak bad luck, recoverable with one more deposit. The wins were the trap; the loss is the harvest.

Red flags checklist

  • A win rate near 100%, especially as a beginner.

  • Praise for your "instinct" after the platform did everything.

  • Pressure to move up tiers: $500 to $5,000 and beyond.

  • Losses appear only after your biggest deposit.

  • A "recovery plan" that requires topping up after the loss.

The manipulation tactic

Confidence inflation. Wins make you feel skilled, and people bet more on skill than on luck; the scam manufactures the feeling of skill.

What to do, and what not to do

  • Distrust perfection; real trading includes losses from day one.

  • Withdraw everything the moment scaling up is suggested; watch what happens.

  • Never chase a sudden big loss with a "recovery" deposit.

  • Save all chats with the coach; they're evidence.

  • Report the platform to the FTC and your bank.
