Start a chapter

Bring the network to your area.

A chapter is one officer or prevention lead who takes the free talk kit to their county, or their country. Flggd supplies the kit, the monthly examples and the cards.

Give free talks

Use the kit with your community, and add your agency's contacts and local stories.

Stay current

New examples every month, with your local hotlines swapped in.

Meet other leads

A short monthly call with chapter leads from other areas.

Who can lead a chapter

A sworn officer, or prevention staff at a law enforcement agency, whose agency allows them to take part. Outside the United States you are welcome too: your chapter uses your country's official reporting services.

How it works

  1. Apply. Five minutes, on this page.
  2. A 20 minute call with Flggd to plan your area.
  3. Accept the charter. One page, by email.
  4. Start giving talks. Your chapter is listed by area.

The charter in brief

  • Free, always. No talk is ever charged for, and nothing is sold at one.
  • No endorsement either way. A chapter does not speak for Flggd, and Flggd does not speak for the chapter's agency.
  • Victims first. Nobody is asked for their story, details or losses.
  • No case data. Chapters never send Flggd case files or victim details.
  • Schools only with the school's approval and a counsellor available.

Scam Detectives Network, convened by Flggd

Scam Detectives Network is run by Flagged PBC, Inc. (Flggd). Free and offered on the same terms to every agency. Agencies that take part do not endorse Flggd, and Flggd does not speak for any agency.
