Safe Numbers: the real contact numbers scammers copy

Scammers pretend to be companies you trust and give you their own number to call. Safe Numbers shows you the real one, taken from the company's own website and checked every day, and the fake numbers people have reported to Flggd.

Type a number to see whether it belongs to the company or has been reported as a scam.

How Safe Numbers works

1. SOURCE

Only from the company itself

Every number comes from the company's own website, and we link to the exact page. Never from search results, forums or other directories.

2. CHECKED

Re-checked every day

Each day we compare every number with the company's page. If anything changes, the number comes off the page until a person has confirmed it.

3. REPORTED

Fake numbers, from real reports

When people check a suspicious message with Flggd, we see the numbers scammers use. A number is listed only after it turns up in at least 3 separate checks.

THE CALLBACK RULE

Never call a number that a message, a pop-up or a caller gave you. Hang up, then call the number on the back of your card, in the company's own app, or on this page.

Not sure? Check the message

Find the company

Every company is listed below for every country. Choosing your country only moves yours to the top.

Questions people ask

How do I know if a phone number is really from a company?

Look the company up on this page, or on its own website typed by hand. If the number you were given is not listed there, treat it as a scam. Never trust a number in a text, email, pop-up or search ad.

Can scammers make a call look like it comes from a real number?

Yes. Caller ID can be faked, so a real number on your screen proves nothing. Hang up and call back on a number you found yourself.

Why not just search for the company's number?

Scammers buy search ads and build fake help pages for exactly these searches. The top result is not always the company.
